• Handling: Even though the paper is a sturdy 270gsm, handle it gently to prevent any bending or creasing. When folding, follow the creases and do not force any parts into place.
• Assembly: If the pop-up requires assembly, make sure your hands are clean and dry to avoid staining the paper. Assemble on a clean, flat surface to avoid any unintended damage.
• Storage: Store the pop-up closed in its original form or flat if possible, in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or other damage. If you keep it assembled, ensure it's protected from being crushed.
• Display: When displaying, choose a location out of direct sunlight and away from any sources of heat. If displayed on a shelf, ensure it's not on the edge where it could be knocked over.
• Cleaning: Dust the pop-up regularly with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth to keep it clean.
• Avoid Moisture: Protect it from any liquids; even a small spill can cause significant damage to paper products.
• Child and Pet Safety: Although the pop-up may be more durable than standard paper artwork, it should still be kept away from small children and pets who might see it as a toy.
• By following these precautions, you can help ensure that your 3D paper artwork remains in good condition for as long as possible.
